1997 3A Boys Race: Jesse Norman leading Chad Pearson



Fuquay-Varina's Jesse Norman has a slight lead on
Kings Mountain's Chad Pearson going up the hill
near the halfway point of the 5,000-meter race.

Norman held on for a five-second victory.
Both he and Pearson return in 1998.
