4-A Girls: From left to right, are Ginger Wheeler (Mount Tabor) 1st 18:28,
Amelia Slagle (North Mecklenburg) 2nd 18:31, Kate Merrill (Durham Jordan) 3rd 18:34,
Jessica Collins (Eastern Wayne) 4th 18:35, Tsehaye Dagachew (Jacksonville) 5th 18:36,
Rachel Kitson (Chapel Hill) 6th 18:41, and Lia Andrews (Pinecrest) 18:47.
Merrill is a 9th grader, Slagle and Dagachew sophomores, and Collins a junior.

3-A Girls: #185 is Eleanor Wilson (Hickory), #474 Jennifer Kelley (TC Roberson),
#288 Brittany Cole (N. Buncombe), and #287 Carla Bowlin (N. Buncombe).
Kelley was 2nd, Wilson 3rd, Cole 4th, and Bowlin 6th.

3-A Boys: Creighton Irons (East Chapel Hill)
finishes 2nd in 16:09.7.

3-A Girls: Alicia Valtin (Western Harnett)
and Hadley Thom (East Chapel Hill).
Valtin won in 18:39, with Thom 5th in 19:30.

4-A Boys: From left to right, are Stephen Haas (North Meck) 1st 15:12, Matt Debole (Mount Tabor)
2nd 15:26, Jeff Gosselin (North Meck) 3rd 15:36, John Wadsworth (North Meck) 4th 15:48,
Wes Boone (Apex) 5th 15:51, Kevin Timp (Chapel Hill) 6th 15:52, and Rob Dock (Providence), 7th 15:53.
All will be back next year except Haas. There were only two seniors in the top 14.
