Reynolds, coached by Norman Trzaskoma edged North by 7 points to win the 1975 meet.
Eight meet records were broken, and four additional records were narrowly missed.
Reynolds' Joel Cofer destroyed the meet record in the high jump by over 4 inches, clearing 6-6.25.
East junior Ron Langford sped to a 9.7 in the 100-yard dash to break the record of 9.8 that had stood since 1969 (Stan Crews, Reynolds).
The top three in the 220-yard dash shattered the meet record. The previous record was 22.5 set by West's Buddy Bolick in 1969 and tied in 1972 by Parkland's Frank Draper. North's Mike Connelly (22.1), East's Ron Hollingsworth (22.3), and North's Mike Covington (22.4) all bettered the old record. David Mast (Reynolds) added an inch to the pole vault record he set the previous year in clearing 13-1.
