1999 3-A State Meet

Just after the first mile Western Harnett's Alicia Valtin leads.

With 600m to go T.C. Roberson's Danielle Deines is on her way to
a 2nd-place finish in 19:24.

Martha Marlowe (Wilkes Central) finished 3rd in 19:38.

Alicia Valtin a sophomore, wins in 19:11. Valtin finished
5th as a 9th grader.

T.C. Roberson sophomore Jennifer Kelley finished 5th in 19:44.

Finishing 6th was sophomore Brittany Cole of North Buncombe (19:53).

1999 3-A State Champions: T.C. Roberson. TC Roberson placed 3 in the top 10.
They return their number 2, 3, 4, and 5 next year.
