Brett Honeycutt (on left) former sportswriter with The Charlotte Observer for many years,
volunteered numerous long hours to help format and post results and photos on this site. Brett has an incredible
knowledge of North Carolina high school sports, particularly track and cross country.
Brett currently coaches cross country and track at Metrolina Christian Academy in
Indian Trail, NC and still contributes statistical lists to NCPrepTrack.
This photo was taken at the 1999 Great American Cross-Country Festival in Charlotte. On the right is
John Dye, who created Dyestat.com, which was the first website to provide national coverage
of high school track and cross country.
