Notes: Hammond School, along with Heathwood Hall Episcopal School (both
of Columbia, S.C.) joined the league in 1994. Hammond left after the 1996 season,
and Heathwood Hall left after the 1997 season. . . . The CISAA scored only
three runners in the girls meet the following years: 1983, 1984, 1986-1995.
The conference scored five runners in 1982 and 1985. The CISAA began scoring
five runners again in 1996.
Northside Christian left the CISAA after the 1984 season. The school rejoined
in 1994 and stayed until leaving after the 1998/1999 season, but did not field a
girls' cross country team during its second tenure. The school left the CISAA
again after the 1998/1999 school year because it dropped to 2A. (The NCISAA
split into 3 classifications: 1A, 2A, 3A. Northside is a 2A-sized school, and
the remaining CISAA schools are considered 3A-sized schools)...In 2008, Cannon
School (Concord, N.C.) joined the league after leaving the MAC Conference.
