Seconds after the start of the boys 4-A race.
Amy DiBianca placed third (19:22) and led Mount Tabor
to it's second 4-A championship in a row.
Leading the boys 3-A race at the bridge on the first lap is
#89 David Christoper of East Chapel Hill. Christopher finished
3rd (16:49), leading his team to the championship. Behind are
(R) Jesus Rojas (Harnett Central), the eventual champion (16:42),
and (L) Jeremy Hyder of Hickory (5th in 16:51). Hyder was only
9 seconds behind the winner. All three are juniors
Sophomore Brittany Fox led Charlotte Catholic
to the 2-A title with a 2nd place (20:20) finish.
Catholic put four in the top 9.
On the 2nd lap in the boys 4-A race are #356 Robert Longoria (South View)
#232 Eric Mack (North Forsyth), and Nick Hutchins (Raleigh Millbrook).
Mack was 3rd (15:57), Longoria 6th (16:08), and
Hutchins 5th (16:05). All are juniors.
