Qualifying for the state meet was done through two sectional meets -- this Western Sectional in Charlotte, and an Eastern Sectional in Durham, which was held on Duke's home cross country course. The top 5 teams and x individuals advanced to the NCHSAA State Meet, held the following Saturday on UNC's Finley Golf Course.
