Note: In 1971 and 1972, the Southwestern 4A had two divisional
championships (Division 7 and Division 8) and a full conference championship
was not contested these two seasons. Divisions were used for several years,
but conference championships were held after the divisional championships,
except for these two years.

-- From 1978 to 2011 all Southwestern 4A conference championships were
run at McAlpine Greenway Park. The 1978 and 1979 races were run on a 3-Mile
course, not the current 3.1 course that is currently standard.
